Establishment of Thai-Korean Chamber of Commerce (TKCC), headed by Mr. Ahn, Kyung-Jun, Director of Korea Trade Center (KOTRA) in Bangkok, and Mr. Chuan Aroonratana, President of International Commercial Center.
Subsequently registered under the Interior Trade Department of Ministry of Commerce. Later, TKCC joined the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT), an official organization in the auspice of the Prime Minister’s Office, and then the Joint Foreign Chamber of Commerce (JFCCT) when it was formulated in mid 1990s.

Name Change from Thai-Korean to Korean-Thai, Chamber of Commerce with the agreement of the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting. The new name was registered at the concerned official organizations, including Ministry of Commerce, Revenue Department, Board of Trade, etc.
